Wednesday, July 3rd (rain date: Sunday, July 7th):
4:00 pm Children's Parade – The parade will travel on Beach St. to the bandstand. Line up at Beech Tree Park at 3:45. Feel free to bring a decorated bike, stroller, etc. Participating children will receive a frozen treat at the bandstand.
4:15 pm Fun family entertainment at the bandstand - featuring Mad Science
Ongoing activities starting at 4:15pm:
6:30 pm - 9:30 pm Live music on the bandstand, featuring renowned country music recording artist Houston Bernard
8:00 pm Pie Eating Contest on the bandstand lawn, sponsored by Shaw's Sharon Supermarket - free to enter, with a $50 prize for the winner (sign up to enter at the main gate - must be 18 years or older to enter)
9:15 pm (or earlier, weather depending) Independence Day Finale – fireworks fired from barge on Lake Massapoag
Please note that the Sharon Recreation Department typically does not allow swimming at the beach during the Celebration after 5 PM.
Also, there is no parking at the beach at any time on July 3.

- Train rides from the Roaming Railroad (a longtime Sharon Independence Day Celebration tradition)
